Happy thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a food filled thanksgiving! I guess I should be more thankful for everything i have... But I am lucky for all that I do have :)
When I was in Japan I had to explain to my uncle about thanksgiving and his response was 'why would you eat such an ugly looking bird' and I was like 'because its the bomb! And it puts you in an instant coma! But I guess it's not just the turkey...

Ohhhh Shino was nice enough to have us over for dinner! And of course Shino cooking is the bombshizzle! Thanks Shino!

My new project

So I am all mighty pottery shokunin!
I have been trying a few new things since coming back. I really like this nerikomi style, I think I am hooked! This used to be my blog all about my travels and stuff but I think my people's in Japan check it out more than my people's in New York. Grrrrrr!!!

So my main color scheme is jet black and white... And grey. Maybe that's how I am feeling right now

Ginni project

So I am back home in New York, getting back into the groove of things. I don't think I have a whole lot of jet lag.. But last night I think I slept about 12 hours

So Ginni wanted to make her dime piece a spectacular gift! I think that's so sweet! Plus Ginni putting effort into being girly, I had to help!!! so 4 hours later, we have a special one of a kind chalk bag! whoot whoot!! i am so proud of gintastic!!!

here we go!

Ohhhh and we celebrated crazy Lina's birthday! Lady M cake eating on the side walk!!! Happy birthday crazy Lina!

Back home

So I am home in New York now :( my trip felt so short. I came home and fell asleep for a little bit but when I woke up I had no idea where I was! In 24 hours I had breakfast in kochi, got on a plane to Tokyo, had lunch in Tokyo with my uncle who followed me there, took a bullet train to another airport and flew my tired ass home. Then hopped on the MTA and dragged my heavy sweets filled bag all the way home.
It was another year of fun filled memories!!! But of course the last of my photo trip
Ohhhh and I got to see Fuji mountain in all its spectacular sunset glory!!!!!! I only saw it one other time long long ago!
